Nestled in Cerro Playa Ancha, this museum seems to speak for itself. For 90 years this space has revived many of the characters that for a long time we only knew thanks to history books.
This place is full of relics and testimonies dating from 1818 to 1880. Among these, one of the best preserved treasures are the writings of the heroes of the Navy, including the furniture that our highest positions have used for a long period of our history. But if you doubt, one of the greatest attractions is the Eternal Flame that recalls the fallen in the remembered Naval Combat of Iquique in 1879.

There are several alternatives to get to Valparaíso:
By bus
The trip takes 1 hour 45 minutes from Santiago. Existing departures with a frequency of 15 minutes, the bus companies offer a good level of service and comfort.
By car
For those who wish to arrive by car from Santiago, they should take Route 68, the estimated travel time being 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Walking through the eight rooms of the museum is like rebuilding our history. With names of prominent national figures such as Diego Portales, Blanco Encalada or memoranda of great feats such as the War of the Pacific, these rooms seem to tell us how this branch of the Armed Forces has been winners, if it is about confrontations.
