The biggest of its kind on the Southern Cape, The Baroness Luxury Safari Lodge is only a 30-minute drive from Plettenberg Bay. It offers safari-style accommodation along South Africa's famous Garden Route.
Built from local stone, Baroness Game Lodge offers rooms with views of the reserve's wildlife and the Tsitsikamma Mountains in the distance. All are spaciously laid out and open out onto the picturesque gardens.
Each room is uniquely decorated with colourful antiques and large chandeliers. Guests can relax in the romantic 4-poster bed or read a book on the leather sofa. Animal skins and polished, wooden floors complete the picture.
Included in your stay is a three course dinner and a cooked breakfast daily; as well as a 2-hour game drive in an open Land Rover vehicle OR a two-hour horseback safari.
Baroness has an enclosed boma with fireplace, perfect for watching wildlife at the nearby dam during sunset. In the main building, guests can also relax in front of one of the fireplaces, choose a book from the library or dine al fresco.
