Boasting the great views of sea, Soyotei offers simple Japanese-style accommodation on Yakushima Island, a World Heritage Site. Equipped with only basic facilities, guests can truly relax and unwind in the private baths with the sound of the ocean.

The property is located a 60-minute drive from Yakushima Airport and a 40-minute drive from Miyanoura Port. It is a 3-minute walk from Inaka-ham bus stop. Shiratani Cloud Water Valley is about a 60-minute drive away, and the forest with ancient trees is a 2-hour drive from the property.

Each room is fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. It comes with a private toilet but bathroom is shared. Some toiletries are provided.

Meals with local seafood and other delicacies can be enjoyed at the dining room or on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Some drinks can be ordered as well.
