Lauterbrunnen is a quiet, traditional village located on the railway line between Wengen, Mürren and Interlaken, making it an ideal base for hiking and climbing tours.
In winter, our location offers the advantage of a ski slope that leads right up to our doorstep. Both Mürren and Wengen are easily accessible. Located in the immediate vicinity of the cable cars, the Hotel Silberhorn is a shorter distance from the lifts than many other hotels in the village. An added bonus is the wide selection of return routes. From Grindelwald, you can either ski back, or return by train. From Mürren, it is possible to ski to our back door, use the convenient funicular, or take the cable car via Stechelberg.
