It is a quiet beach with perfume, with cold, very beaten water. The Ribeira de Ceixe flows into the beach, in the middle of the sand, marking the border between the Alentejo and the Algarve.

Divided into two zones - the river beach and the sea - it has great ocean-side ripple, attracting many surfers and bodyboarders. The top of the stone stairs is a great spot to watch the sunset and the beautiful surrounding landscape.
